Residential Care

Residential care

Bedroom in the main house

We provide accommodation, meals and personal care for people who find it difficult to cope at home without help, or who need more help than their carers can provide. Our mission is

To provide the best possible care and consideration in comfortable surroundings within a homely atmosphere. A place where personal dignity, independence and individuality are respected.

Care plans

Our care is centred around the needs of each resident as an individual. Each resident has a personal care plan tailored to fit their needs, reflect their wishes and set realistic goals. Care plans are reviewed on a regular basis by staff and residents to measure whether the needs are being met and to continuously improve the plans to more accurately reflect the needs and aspirations of the resident.

Residents rights

We place the rights of residents at the forefront of our philosophy of care. We seek to advance these rights in all aspects of the environment and the services we provide and to encourage our residents to exercise their rights to the full. We do this by working closely with family members and other parties, who can advocate on behalf of residents, and with residents themselves. Underpinning rights of residents are the following principles: –

  • Privacy
  • Dignity
  • Independence
  • Security
  • Civil Rights
  • Choice
  • Fulfilment
  • Quality Care
